Você sabia que no Canadá há um centro de controle ao crime cibernético? Estamos falando do Centro Canadense de Segurança Cibernética ou Centro Cibernético (Canadian Centre for Cyber Security or Cyber Center).

O objetivo dessa autoridade é ser a responsável técnica do Governo do Canadá em segurança cibernética e a fonte única e unificada de consultoria especializada, orientação, serviços e suporte em questões operacionais de segurança cibernética. O Centro Cibernético é parte do Estabelecimento de Segurança de Comunicações (CSE).

Combate a ataques cibernéticos variados

O Centro Cibernético é o local adequado para que vítimas denunciem vários tipos de atacantes como:

• Tentativas de ataques ou ataques que tenham tomado seu computador, telefone ou outro device
• Fraudes bancárias
• Falsos empregos
• Spams telefônicos ou por e-mail
• Chantagens
• Bullying, exploração sexual online, ameaças
• Abuso sexual e exploração sexual online
• Preocupações com terrorismo e espionagem

O Centro Cibernético também é um ótimo lugar para saber sobre novidades de como se proteger e também sobre atualizações de segurança. O centro ajuda a dar mais conhecimento sobre técnicas e ameaças digitais. Achei a iniciativa muito interessante.

Aqui como já falamos atrás, há uma variedade grande de golpes e ter esse centro é uma possibilidade de ter um combate mais qualificado.

Eu mesmo não conhecia esse serviço e só cheguei a ele graças a uma pessoa em um grupo de brasileiros que compartilhou. Valeria mais a pena se o governo fizesse campanhas divulgando tão importante serviço.

Canada has technical authority against cybercrime

Did you know that Canada has a cybercrime control center? We are talking about the Canadian Center for Cyber Security or Cyber Center.

This authority aims to be the Government of Canada’s technical lead on cybersecurity and the single, unified source of expert advice, guidance, services and support on operational cybersecurity issues. The Cyber Center is part of the Communications Security Establishment (CSE).

Combating various cyber attacks

The Cyber Center is the appropriate place for victims to report various types of attackers, such as:

• Attempted attacks or attacks that have taken over your computer, phone or other device
• Bank fraud
• Fake jobs
• Telephone or email spam
• Blackmail
• Bullying, online sexual exploitation, threats
• Online sexual abuse and sexual exploitation
• Concerns about terrorism and espionage

Dissemination center

The Cyber Center is also a great place to learn how to protect yourself and security updates. The center helps to give more knowledge about techniques and digital threats. I found the initiative very interesting.

As we mentioned earlier, there is a wide variety of strikes and having this center is a possibility of having a more qualified combat.

I didn’t know about this service, and I only came across it thanks to one person in a group of Brazilians who shared. It would be more worthwhile if the government conducted campaigns publicizing such an essential service.
