Além da possibilidade de termos um iPad dobrável em 2024, o iPad Pro poderá ganhar drásticas mudanças no ano que vem. Isso seria bem importante visto que ele não sofre alterações substanciais desde 2018.

A mudança visa não só trazer um novo visual para o tablet, mas como ajuda a Apple a fazer com que a linha de tablets tenha um impulso em receitas.

Segundo o especialista em Apple da Bloomberg, Mark Gurman, o iPad Pro está prestes a receber sua maior atualização em 5 anos. Houve poucas mudanças nos tablets ultimamente. O modelo mais atraente dos últimos anos tem sido o iPad econômico de 10ª geração, lançado em outubro passado. O iPad mini não é atualizado há dois anos. E o iPad Pro não sofreu nenhuma mudança dramática desde 2018.

O que esperar do novo iPad Pro?

Segundo Mark, os próximos modelos têm os codinomes J717, J718, J720 e J721. Eles estarão disponíveis em tamanhos de 11 e 13 polegadas. Ou seja, a diagonal da tela do modelo maior aumentará 0,1 polegadas.

Talvez o mais importante seja que o tablet passará para chips proprietários, neste caso o M3. Será também a primeira vez que a Apple usará telas OLED, há muito instaladas em smartphones. Essas telas são mais nítidas e brilhantes e reproduzem as cores com mais precisão.

Além disso, espere um Magic Keyboard atualizado com um trackpad maior. Como resultado, o iPad Pro se parecerá mais com um laptop.

E o preço?

Muito bem, com todas essas mudanças, o iPad Pro, que junto com a Magic Keyboard e Apple Pencil hoje não custa menos que CA$ 1,667 (nos EUA sai por US$ 1,227) deve aumentar. Imagine, ele terá um chip M3 (hoje é M2) e a Magic Keyboard promete ser melhor e maior (mais pesada também?). Logicamente isso irá significar um preço maior.

Além de tudo isso, a todo lançamento a sensação que a Apple cresce o olho nos lucros, em outras palavras, aumentar o preço. Então não acredito no milagre de um produto no mesmo preço do atual e nem cogito ele mais barato. Logo, minha aposta para preços de iPads, em especial o Pro, em 2024 é produtos mais caros.
